Hershall, first, my in-depth apologies for the Songleader totally discounting the fact that you are counted among the staff here at the Church of Pod'N Me... a feedbacker gave homage (big word meaning special honor) to the fact that you are a 1/4 of a point of this church cast and you were overlooked by Bro. Brad, but that's at the end of the episode so you can bask (big word meaning make the most of) in the enjoyment until then.  The Deacon outdid himself in bringing an entirely new segment to the podcast this week a lil (small word) thing we called "Would You Druther?" We hope not to run off our already devoted 10s of listeners with what followed. We moved the feedback to the latter portion of the service but it was still a worthy portion not to be skipped... Hershall, we had another less than high expectationed episode today, but we did have some very special moments on the church cast here. None of the least of which was, thanks to you we played a song from a link that you sent me several weeks ago. it was a song from The McCoy Family on YouTube. one of their members who has sent some feedback (Sis. Babbling Brooke) so graciously agreed to let us use their content today and that led us into talking about some of our favorite hymn lyrics. We ended the episode with a twist on our Name that Tune segment. The Deacon play some hymns by some of the artists that he used to listen to while in the 400 sin-filled silent years and the Songleader and I had to guess the artists. (a set-up to see who amongst us was the most spiritual) When it comes to this game though, we pull out all stops to win and I hate to ruin the results of who won here, so let's suffice (big word alert) it to say, I rode many miles with Deacon Dustin in my youth.... Hershall, as you well remember, last week, the Deacon had yet another group of people that he went after.... Those that use brute creation (two words that describe the lower for of life than humans) as abutment (colossal word meaning support) for their emotions.

Hershall, you were once again a delight to have in Studio 4, along with all of the studio audience. (largest ever which included Hershall's entire family: Loretta & the Sunshine Girls, The Everett Evangelistic Team, The Production Room Voice-over Specialists, Bryce and Addyson) As often happens here on Pod'N Me, we experienced things that we shan't (big word for shall not) forget. Hershall, first off, it was great to have you in studio 4 today. We had a regular ole' large time, but I'll have to say, I was challenged (big word meaning hard pressed) to find a title for what this episode was all about. We had many things going on in the studio, as well as, many things outside the studio causing distractions... namely: weather alerts every few minutes on our phones telling us to take immediate cover due to the impending danger in the sky. We did take several breaks (which I edited out) but still managed to finish the episode. We did have some great news to which the title was referring to...

Hershall, today we had an interview with the (in my humble opinion) greatest mother of them all, Sis. Cynthia Grace Birdsong (aka Cyndi Birdsong). We (Deacon Dustin, Songleader Brad and your Humble Virtual Pastor) first paid homage (big word meaning special honor) to all of our mothers by bragging on the worst/best dishes they prepared for us in our respective childhoods. During that portion of the program, I gave the audience a glimpse of where my humility began. (Hint: it has to do with a household chore of setting the table) Also, I divulged (big word) that I have been in the number of the redeemed that say “sew” so to speak. We talked about my mother’s transition to preacher’s wife from builder’s wife. She shared many valuable things including great instructions to “be yourself.” 

We finished by playing a popular Name That Lyric game… contest between me, the Deacon and Mother Dearest. Stay “tuned” til the very end to get the results….  (Post-program very end) We had many laughs and a few tears today. God bless all the mothers of the world! Enjoy!

Hershall, Thanks for stopping by today because it is an absolute historic (big word meaning famous or important in history or potentially so) day here on Pod'N Me. We signed a contract with Og the Caveman to do some work for us in our email segment. He has corresponded (big word meaning emailed) with us on a couple of occasions and we alluded (big word meaning suggested) on a previous episode that we may need to hire him for the feedback segment to quell (outstanding big word meaning put an end to) the emails, should they get too lengthy. So, he's officially on staff. I even signed the contract on air. (side note- folks will have the privilege to hear the exact sound that my pen makes while signing my actual name... IN CURSIVE) 

We also gave a merch update (hint: we still have some available for purchase at podnme.org) as well as ended with talking about an important subject concerning anti-microbial (a word that Brad actually guesses the meaning of on air and gets the Deacon frustrated about) wipes. Hershall, we are glad to bring you another episode of this virtual train wreck. We had quite a day here at Pod'N Me. We talked about many various things as always.
