Hershall, from the title you would think that retirement was part of the subject but it wasn't even brought up! We started with some exhilarating (shocking word alert) feedback. Pray for Deacon Dusty cause he got hit pretty hard by a guy who we surmised (word with little evidence to go on) had a missing string. We ended by having a serious discussion on the challenge of receiving of the kind hearts of others. We'll try to pay it forward with these episodes! let us hear from you by way of sending feedback to [email protected].

Hershall, this week I put a big word in the Title (Please see above for more info). The use of "Resumé"  in the title could cause a fella like you at first glance to think this is an un-ending episode, but that's what that word means when you subtract (lesser word alert) the line above the "e" on the word. The reason why I even included the word, Hersh, is because we had someone trying to get hired on to the podcast and put an application (another several meaning-ed word) in the review on Apple Podcasts. After an extended amount of time talking about such things, we (the deacon, song leader & I) talked about promotion that comes from the Lord. If I had to measure this show, I'm not sure what unit of measurement I would use. Send us some feedback if you'd like at [email protected].

It's a special day to...morrow and we addressed that, Hershall. T'was (a semi-hymn-notic word) told on this podcast that your Birthday is tomorrow and for that we celebrated with a cold call to you our listener! During feedback, (aka testimony time about how good we are doing) Deacon Dusty totally dug himself in a Biblical quagmire (impressive big word that leaves a sinking feeling). He brought up a New Testament reference silencing a big part of our audience and the DOUBLED down on it! Speaking of double.... the song-leader Brad has a double or twin as we say in polite society. He came on the show today to talk about his twin-ship with Brad. He wrapped up by telling us the real reason for his delay in appearing on the podcast. In the nick (confusing word with 4 or 5 meanings) of time, I added some obscure (hidden word) Bible trivia about a guy who gets picked on for doubting. Email the podcast if you'd like at [email protected]. we may even read and react to your feedback on air!

Hello Hershall, Me & the boys (Deacon Dustin & Songleader Brad) hit the ground running. As you've come to expect it was a packed service today. We did manage to make it to church early and after the deacon and I got Brad lookin' presentable,  (semi-big word meaning 'nice enough') we went on in and started the Pod'n Meetin'. We covered a wide gamut (intelligent sounding big word meaning full scale) of topics such as: Great Toes, Great Radio Announcers (Paul Harvey) Great Cars (Buicks) and the Greatest Cereal. We ended up talking about following the voice of the Lord. Now, Hersh, how we made it to our final topic was something that you'll have to listen to find out. Would you mind taking the time to let us hear from you? We may even include your feedback in an upcoming episode. You can leave us a comment at [email protected] or leave a review on Apple Podcasts. Thanks for listening!

Hey Hershall, Pod'n meetin' crept up on us this week! we were running a little late for church but who among us hasn't been tardy (big word for late) from time to time. Trey was already in to the second verse by the time we arrived but he usually doesn't get thru the verse and chorus before we silence his voice and start the show. so, it worked out that we heard Trey singing a part of the song that we haven't in the past. Speaking of Trey, He called in with a GINORMOUS (literal big word alert) complaint. He's been critiquing (smart sounding word) the deacon on his intelligent sayings. We got reacted to some feedback as well as had a good conversation on the topic of prayer and Devine or Divine healing... Enjoy and email me if you'd like at [email protected]. We always welcome your input!

Hersh, the deacon threw us for a loop when he went back to the Old Testament to start talking about promises and oaths, but before we got there, I pulled out an old fact about the deacon that the song leader had never heard. I know some stuff, Hershey! It had to do with the deacon's Appalachian melodic prowess of indigo sod persuasion.  (word salad ALERT 🚨)
-the meaning of the previous statement was that Brad had no idea that Dustin took a bluegrass instructional course for the guitar. (amazing string of big words)
We ended up talking about the power of prayer! Some other topics included Full-Service Filling stations. I hope you enjoy the Pod'N Meetin' and if you want to contact us feel free to do so at [email protected]

This may have been a total waste if good time, Hershall, but we had fun. It’s not what we set out to accomplish but I feel we made podcast history. I can’t say definitively (big word that possibly means ‘for sure’) but I really don’t think a podcast has ever delved into this riveting topic. (Fairly intelligent sounding sentence alert 🚨) Enjoy the Rain Gauge discussion! Contact me if you’d like at [email protected].

Hershall, We had a meandering (wander-ful word) time getting to our topic today. As you know, sometimes the brethren can run things off the rails so to speak and today I didn't know if we were going to get to the topic. We plowed through importance like: my speech issues, receptacle crowding, water bottles, and I even made a HUGE confession for the world to hear! It has to do with a book report. Speaking of confession, Brad told us he read a 1,000 (yep three zeros) page book for fun. Anyway, we ended up talking about dressing up.... (you'll have to see what I'm referring to) Enjoy! I have a treat for you today, Hershall. I sit down (virtually) with my pastor and his wife again. We have talked about doing this episode for a long time and finally we got it done. We talked about the main man in their life, Mr. Tanner Guthrie, and the impact he has had on so many people. Hang on, cause toward the end of the interview we get to hear from him. Also, we get to hear him sing his favorite song. After all, Hersh, he is the leader of the Guthrie Vocal Band.
Sis. Chera has a blog that I referenced in the interview. It is well worth the read and it is at cheraguthrie.com. Enjoy!
