Hershall, We decided to go all in... We've added  some regular guests here on the production team and decided to call it a Pod'N Meetin'. This is another totally off the cuff episode with my listener Hershall (Jud Ingram). He's a great friend that really DID have Covid 19 and a tough case. He has just recovered thankfully. In no way are we trying to make light of the virus that has taken the lives of so many loved ones and friends. We are thankful for all who have recovered and know that this is something that we are all trying to work through. All that being said, I wanted to release this episode to let everyone know my plans. First off, Hershall, this is a long episode, but cut me a little slack, its has been a month since you've even heard from me. Today I sat down with a couple of parishioners... A deacon and song leader. Hersh, the deacon happens to be one of my best friends. I mean the guy knows some stuff about me. We got together to have what we all thought was going to be a light hearted conversation and it ended up being down right serious at times. We did cover some important stuff though like my use of circumlocution (big word alert) while preaching, Elmer Fudd references, and how singing on the job can cause some folks to become patriotic. All that wrapped up with the idea that we need to laugh in the midst of these troubled times. Hersh, you even got a shout out! Enjoy!
