When we talk about the Return of the Deacon, Hershall, it has nothing to do with his tax records so don't think that kind of information is going to be discussed today. We just had a Pod'N Meetin' without Deacon Dusty last week and he's back on the show today. After a few minutes of us heaping our accolades (big-ish word alert) on him, we moseyed (wondering word) our way into the subject for today which was kinda about how we are supposed to take a nice compliment. That all came after the Deacon pulled a heart wrenching (anguish word) scripture to describe his feelings about last week's episode. Hersh, as you've come to expect, we're settling big issues here in the new year! I started by throwing the boys a curve. they thought I was referencing a Bible verse and I wasn't. Me being in the Min-us-Streh (ministry) and all, caused the brethren to make a wrong assumption. We eventually moved on to more riveting (big word alert) spiritual conversation when the deacon wanted to discuss the McRib (not a sponsor of the show). Hershall, I think you've made the Deacon & Songleader's day. We had some feedback from some of your friends that have been hearkening to the podcast and did they ever put the praises in for the boys! Whew, I didn't know if we'd ever get to the end of the accolades but we finally did and went right in to talking about a vital part of our worship services. That is singing hymns.
