Polite Conversations

SAMPLE: Join myself and two of my first ever patrons, @Nataliasdad & @ThomasSwords, for episode 3 of the Polite Conversations Aftershow. We discuss Dawkins being embarrassing, Rubin being a doormat for Jordan Beeferson, why terms like ‘IDW’ and ‘Alt Right’ fall out of use when they no longer serve their purpose of obscuring what these groups are - and you also get to hear the strange Polite Conversations Origin story!Links: Episodes mentioned:Food & Fascism: https://podcasts.google.com?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5zb3VuZGNsb3VkLmNvbS91c2Vycy9zb3VuZGNsb3VkOnVzZXJzOjIwNjczMjAxMS9zb3VuZHMucnNz&episode=dGFnOnNvdW5kY2xvdWQsMjAxMDp0cmFja3MvMTI3MDc1ODAxMA%3D%3DCanada Day Special: https://podcasts.google.com?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5zb3VuZGNsb3VkLmNvbS91c2Vycy9zb3VuZGNsb3VkOnVzZXJzOjIwNjczMjAxMS9zb3VuZHMucnNz&episode=dGFnOnNvdW5kY2xvdWQsMjAxMDp0cmFja3MvMTI5Njg2NDk2Nw%3D%3DMerge-gate explainer episode: https://podcasts.google.com?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5zb3VuZGNsb3VkLmNvbS91c2Vycy9zb3VuZGNsb3VkOnVzZXJzOjIwNjczMjAxMS9zb3VuZHMucnNz&episode=dGFnOnNvdW5kY2xvdWQsMjAxMDp0cmFja3MvMTA3MTQyODY2OA%3D%3DMy previous two update episodes that I refer to in the intro:https://podcasts.google.com?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5zb3VuZGNsb3VkLmNvbS91c2Vycy9zb3VuZGNsb3VkOnVzZXJzOjIwNjczMjAxMS9zb3VuZHMucnNz&episode=dGFnOnNvdW5kY2xvdWQsMjAxMDp0cmFja3MvMTMzOTA2OTU3OQ%3D%3Dhttps://podcasts.google.com?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5zb3VuZGNsb3VkLmNvbS91c2Vycy9zb3VuZGNsb3VkOnVzZXJzOjIwNjczMjAxMS9zb3VuZHMucnNz&episode=dGFnOnNvdW5kY2xvdWQsMjAxMDp0cmFja3MvMTM4NTQ2NjAyOA%3D%3D——-You can still contribute to the gofundme, here:https://www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-help-eiynah——Get access to the full episode/series & more by becoming a patron todayhttps://www.patreon.com/nicemangos

This episode covers the second part of our chat. Here, we get into the nitty gritty of our differences. I think its important because, to casual listeners all IDW criticism may appear to be similar, but actually there are some pretty fundamental differences even within the critical space.

I haven’t had a guest on in a while on the show, I’ve been so busy doing these deep dives and monologues on unsavoury idw characters. So, I thought maybe a change would be nice. In this episode, I chat with Chris Kavanagh (@C_Kavanagh) of the Decoding the Gurus podcast (@Guruspod). I’ve split our convo into two episodes, because it was looong. This part covers our conversation about Sam Harris & Chris’ recent chat with him.
