Tshidi Madia opens this new season of Politricking with Tshidi Madia with a candid sit-down with the first female police commissioner, Riah Phiyega, who was appointed in 2012 by former President, Jacob Zuma. She shares how she took the job even though  her background is in business. She opens up about how just 64 days into the job things took a turn as she was faced with the Marikana Massacre which defined her whole tenure. Now serving as the CEO of the Safer South Africa Foundation established by POPCRU, she shares the work she does with the foundation to educate and inspire young citizens to not commit crime because she believes prevention is better than reaction.
