From her first runs suffering around the block and trying to keep up with her husband Bob, to becoming a running convert and even eventually using running, exercise and healthy living to get off of medication for a serious illness. Debbie has self published a book about living with Lupus. It is called: Mutiny in my Body: How Running has Saved my Life, and it is available on Amazon. Those who know Debbie will be very aware of just how much energy and happiness she injects into the running community and other groups she is involved in around the city. Richard has been running for many years and has always lived around the Portsmouth area. He has run for the Portsmouth Joggers and tells us how joining a club helped him accumulate a number of sub three hour marathon runs.
