This week my mom, Hinda Abrahamson, and I discuss her father, Bert Kahn, aka Poopah, “a welterweight wrestling champion” whose life-long vocation and avocation was devoted to maintaining a healthy body and a healthy mind. He owned one of the first health clubs in the country in Dallas, TX in the 1930’s that included boxing and wrestling training.
