Behind perhaps their best offense day in quite some time, the New York Mets clinched themselves a series W by defeating the Colorado Rockies, 8-2.

Every starter in the lineup for the Mets produced a hit, highlighted by their 3 HR's. Brandon Nimmo and Juan Soto went back to to back in the 4th inning and then it was Jeff McNeil tacking one on for good measure in the 8th. 

It was another great day on the bump for Kodai Senga, striking out seven and allowing just two earned runs over 6.1 innings pitched. At one point, Senga had retired 17 straight Rockies batters and was cruising. 

Things get passed to Clay Holmes, who will take the mound tomorrow looking for the series sweep.
