In what started out as a pitchers duel, the New York Mets fell in the series finale to the Houston Astros by a final score of 2-1. The Mets bats continued to stay cold and could only manufacture one run off the baserunning of Jose Siri. Griffin Canning was solid in his first start as a Met, but takes the loss on the stat sheet. The Mets will head off to Miami and look to heat up in the Miami weather.
