For the first time this season, the New York Mets have lost three games in a row. They were defeated by the Boston Red Sox, 2-0. 

The offense, and it's struggles, continue to be the top story for this team. A lowly 4-hit performance that saw another rough night with runners in scoring position. The Mets were given a gift in the form of a 3rd inning ejection of Red Sox starter Walker Buehler, but did absolutely nothing with it.

Clay Holmes gave up two solo HR's, a growing trend for him as of late, and that was enough for Boston against this lowly Mets offense right now. 

The Mets will try and avoid a sweep, and a four game losing streak, and send Tylor Megill to the mound in the series finale.
