The school year ended differently than anyone could have predicted. For Blake Van Der Kamp, he missed walking across the stage at PCM H.S. in Monroe, Iowa and he's not getting the chance to take part in a ceremony recognizing him a U.S. presidential scholar. He was nominated by his agriculture education teacher and found out this spring he was part of a chosen few in the country. However, Blake is not letting missed opportunities stand in his way to becoming an agriculture educator as he will be a full-time college student this fall.
