Prevent Injuries, Train for Longevity, and Build Rock Solid Resilience, with Dean Somerset and Dan Pope

Listen Later

Injuries, fatigue, soreness and pain are things we all experience. But what do you do when they occur? Do you stop all physical activity, or do you continue training? In this episode, physical therapist and strength coach Dan Pope and certified exercise physiologist Dean Somerset use their decades of experience in helping athletes return to play pain free to discuss why injuries happen, how to train through them, and how to use those methods to train for longevity. Dan and Dean are the co-authors of Rock Solid Resilience: An Evidence-Based Guide to Preventing Injury, Optimizing Strength, and Enhancing Performance.
