Back in July, when we lost the great James Caan, John and Steve knew that there was no better way to honor this incredible actor than an exploration of the film with one of his greatest, if most restrained performances, Misery. This Rob Reiner film based on the Stephen King Novel is absolutely brilliant made more so by the chilling and absolutely unique portrayal of Annie Wilkes by Kathy Bates in her first starring role.
