Pre-election worries, particularly about negative gearing and capital gains tax, paused many markets across the country, and this is reflected in the data for this quarter. However it highlights the areas that have remained consistent or have grown despite these uncertainties, and the suburbs and towns identified as rising markets in this report are worthy markets indeed.
Regional areas again out-performed most major cities, though Adelaide continues to be the quiet achiever, and smart investors continue to look to its markets, because one of these days the general populace is going to wake up to the opportunities to be found here
