Prime Time Krime

Starting on June 21 I'll be bringing you weekly episodes going into depth on John List and what led to him murdering his family in 1971 in Westfield, New Jersey. We are gonna break it all down starting from Johns early life, to his marriage, to what ultimately led to him making the decision to kill his family and leave it all behind and start a new life. Welcome to summer series 2026.

Right now in true crime: Jack Avery murder for hire plot, missing woman Lindsey Watts

This weeks episode is an unsolved Las Vegas mashup in honor of Crimecon 2026. I’ll be covering 6 unsolved cases: Ralph Howard Alsup Sr, Anna Sylvia Just, Alphonse Bass, Joseph O’Hare, Samuel Lemel, and Evelyn Grace Shank. All happened between 1959 and 1969, all happened in Las Vegas and all remain unsolved although 3 of them have a crazy connection and suspect.

Right now in true crime: Amber Spradlin trial delayed, Murdaugh news, another cold case solved.
Thanks to Sierra and Ben for sharing an episode this week!

This week on Unsolved Couple, Ben and Sierra unravel a layered collection of true crime stories pulled from Unsolved Mysteries Season 4, Episode 19, where violence, deception, and long-lost hope collide. In Henderson, Nevada, a calculated bank robbery spirals into a hostage situation and high-speed escape. Just when it seems the suspects will vanish without a trace, a fearless reporter captures a photo that could expose everything. Blink and you’d miss it… but investigators didn’t. Then, a chilling story rooted in the aftermath of the Great Depression: a brother and sister are torn apart by a manipulative preacher posing as a savior. What follows is a decades-long search across Texas, leading to one of the most emotional reunions ever featured. A devastating family murder in Toledo, Ohio leaves nine children scattered across the system. Years later, one sister refuses to let the past stay buried, launching a search to reunite her siblings and reclaim what was stolen from them. And deep in the hills near Chattanooga, Tennessee, a beloved couple is brutally murdered in a case that quickly turns inward. When suspicion lands on family, the truth becomes harder to face. Greed, betrayal, and a disappearance that raises one final question… did the mastermind get away, or was there more to the story?

In November 1969, 20 year-old Joyce Malecki had her life taken under suspicious circumstances in Baltimore, Maryland, her case remains unsolved to this day. In 2017 there was renewed interest in Joyce’s case emerged as the possibility that her death was connected to the death of sister Catherine Ann Cesnik. Sister Cathy was murdered in November 1969 just days before Joyce and the overlaps and similarities are jarring. Let’s unpack this one.I highly suggest everyone watch the Keepers on Netflix

Episode 1: Send Recovery

On September 9th, 2023, at 9:45 PM, a 911 call was made.A witness reported a white sedan sitting on River Road in the Sacramento Delta.Moments later, that same car began to move—rolling slowly from a stop, turning down an embankment, and disappearing into the Sacramento River.Emergency response was called. But what happened next, doesn’t make sense.Within hours, the call was downgraded.Medical was cancelled. No confirmed search took place the following day.Two days later, a dive team finally located the vehicle.Four days later, Jeff Anderson was pulled from the bottom of the river—just 500 feet from where the car entered the water. His car was:-upside down- in park.Keys in his pocket. His body in the back seat. His phone was never recovered. And in the months after his death—someone attempted to access his accounts.
Authorities ruled it an accident.
We disagree.
In this first chapter of Secrets Beyond the Sacramento River, we walk you through the night Jeff Anderson lost his life—using dispatch calls, witness statements, and official reports—to uncover one question:
What happened to Jeff Anderson?
Hosts Jen Rivera & Jules Thorp Produced in cooperation with Jeff Anderson's family.
