Unfortunately religion and specifically Christianity, often becomes synonymous with hate, wars, and discrimination. With so many people experiencing trauma due to the church, many people have turned away from religion completely. Brenda began to question the way she was taught the bible and decide to break down and rebuild what her faith meant to her. By removing stigmas that are set in place to control and create power dynamics, Brenda found the true purpose of her faith.
