This week's show is all about the resurgence of the White Christian Nationalist LYNCH MOB. The Club Q murders are the latest result of the non-stop incitement and defamation aimed at the LGBTQ communities by White Christian Nationalists. 

After the Club Q murders, Trump team mouthpiece Jenna Ellis, has committed to further slandering the LGBTQ community under the auspices of Christian Nationalist 'faith.' Ellis is pushing the Christian opinion that those who are NOT Christian will "burn in hell." She is also pushing the idea that those in the LGBTQ community will also "burn in hell," for no other reason than their sexual orientation or gender itdenttity. While Ellis has a 1st amendment right to espouse whatever moronic opinions she has, she does NOT have a right to slander, libel or defame with legal impunity. Furthermore, those of us on the opposing side ALSO maintain the right of rebuttal. 

Besides the bigotry that Ellis pushes, there is the issue of incitement. DId Ellis and other Christian Nationalists, with their hateful rhetoric actually CRIMINALLY INCITE this recent wave of 'shootings' which do constitute premeditated attempts to commit genocide and other hate crimes. Should Jenna Ellis and other prominent alt-right mouthpieces be held both civilly and criminally responsible for their role in the resurgence of the American lynch mob? I argue that they should, and to the fullest extent of the law. 

That is our big story. We will also have a very 'special' Jackass of the Week Award.

This week on PNN, our founder Rick Spisak has another interview with Professor Wendy Lynne Lee of the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. Professor Lee has made a special study of the impact right-wing groups have had on politics and academia, delivered with humor and wit. 

I will discuss the dishonest judicial scam aka 'originalism.' I will cite the work of noted constitutional scholar and Dean of the UCLA Law School, Erwin Chemerinski as documentation. To put it bluntly, 'originalism' is the tool of choice for conservatives determined to limit human rights to a certain subset, namely "white, Christian, straight males.' There is no other logical outcome if you follow the idea of 'originalism' to its pre-ordained conclusion. While this may sound purely academic, the ramifications of allowing this false theory to continue will result in the complete erosion of human rights for minorities.

The GOP of Trump has taken control of both houses of Congress. They did so with an organized program of blatant voter suppression not seen since the height of Jim Crow. Georgia Governor Kemp actually deputized violent vigilantes to challenge the voting rights of some 149,000 people. In other states the GOP was caught instructing poll workers to "secretly break rules" as evidenced by leaked audio. So, why are these GOP operatives so bold? That's due to a Supreme Court ruling from court conservative fascists that grants faux legtiimacy to gerrymandering in the case of Merrill v Milligan. This show will investigate how the GOP suppressed the vote of minorities and how we can end this denial of equal voting rights.

This week is more of an editorial on the growing danger of GOP fascism in the USA. Vote blue like your life depends on it - because it does. Not since the Confederacy have we faced a party preaching hate, bigotry and what can only be called neo Nazism. These fascists have risen in part, due to the mass cowardice of corporate media, refusing to demand accountability from elected representatives. Our very democracy is at stake.

Last week, my colleague Rick Spisak spoke about GOP plans to attack Social Security. This week, on our Halloween show, I will speak to real GOP terrorism as the 'Grand Ol' Party' works feverishly to dismantle Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Of course, the GOP has to lie about the program, but the lies began long with Ronald Reagan and continue to the present day with Donald Trump, Senator Rick Scott, Senator Rubio, Newt Gingrich, and so many others. 

Earlier this past year, Florida Senator Rick Scott presented an 11 point plan earlier this year which would achieve this goal. The plan is filled with LIES, LIES and just when you think the GOP couldn't LIE any more--MORE LIES. I will delve into Rick Scott's criminal history during his reign over Columbia HCA. I will also discuss how this 11-point plan ties in with an earlier plan by "the Donald" which would have destroyed Social Security by 2026. Finally, I will explain the truth about these programs. 

A group calling themselves Social Security Works, explains the actual FACTS. 

For too long, the corporate media has pushed the LIE of 'false equivalenceis' and this must stop.

This week, I will discuss Florida Senator Rick Scott's plan to savage Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid as part of the GOP assault on the average working person. The only reason Rick Scott wasn't incarcerated was due to the fact that he 'took the 5th,' and refused to answer questions regarding his role in a Medicare/Medicaid billing fraud. The company paid, and Rick Scott was sent to the Senate. The injustice of this trajectory is patently obvious.

I will also celebrate the fact that Donald Trump was subpoenaed.

Welcome to PNN's Corruption Report!

This week, I will discuss why Donald Trump must be criminally prosecuted in order to save the republic. Not only did Trump break multiple federal laws, but set a precedent which will only encourage more illegal behavior from the extremists in the GOP. No president is above the law. Period. Furthermore, Trump has been aided by Judge Aileen Mercedes Cannon as she literally halted the full criminal investigation beng conducted by the DOJ. Trump stealing national security records is far more serious than the Watergate case. Trump placed our national security in dire jeopardy at an incalculable risk. That's story #1.

Story #2 deals with the very law which enabled the Flint water crisis, namely the Emergency Manager Act. This 'law' basically places an unnofficial poll tax on lower income munincipalities. It says that if your jurisdiction is deemed "too poor" by the state, your local elections can and WILL be overturned by the state. This law was spearheaded by multiple far right think tanks, including the DeVos funded Mackinac Center.

A judge dropped the criminal case against 7 former officials in the Flint water crisis. The excuse involved a legal technicality which further demonstrates the ethical bankruptcy of our legal system. Instead of instructing the prosecutor to fix the error in the prosecution's case, Judge Elizabeth Kelly essentially dropped the case. The case for systemic corruption must be discussed and corrupt judges must be replaced. 

Next, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, a small Florida town located just 12 miles northeast of Fort Myers, not only sustained minimal damage, but never lost power. How did this happen? The town known as Babcock Ranch is 100% SOLAR POWERED. Furthermore, building codes required all structures to be designed with a "low-wind profile." This miracle of sustainable development was NOT covered by the mainstream corporate news, which is too busy greenwashing fossil fuel. This column was written by noted progressive journalist Thom Hartmann and it ran in Commondreams. We will be discussing this piece as it is clear that the subject of truly green, sustainable development which saved lives, has been blacklisted by corporate talking heads.

This week, the subject is legal equality for all persons. I called mutliple republican senators and congressmen, asking a simple question; do they support legal and political equality under the rule of law for ALL persons? Yes or no. I was repeatedly told by staffers that they hadn't spoken to the senator or congressman so they couldn't comment. This is not a difficult question and it shouldn't require a public relations poll. Their vacellation told me all that I needed to know. Failing to speak out against political and legal inequality is essentially granting consent to the fascists and nazis in our midst. 

The EJR component will discuss the massive pipeline leaks at the Nord Stream Pipelines in the Baltic Sea. Authorities suspect sabotage coming from Russia as the 'leaks' are enormous holes releasing enormous amounts of methane directly into the atmosphere. The implications are dire. 

Our Jackass of the Week segment is awarded to the city of Branson, Missouri. In a few days, they will host a 'conference' headlining noted traitor and Trumpist, General Mike Flynn. While I hold the organizations responsible for this conference of hate responsible, I also hold the city of Branson, Missouri equally responsible.

Yesterday, President Biden gave a speech which was a call to reject the poison of white supremacy, of neo-Nazism. He spoke in Philadelphia, in front of Independence Hall. While calling out MAGA as the white supremacy it has always been, he refused to see what is obvious to communities of color, religious minorities, women, and LGBTQ persons, namely that the GOP of Trump has tolerated a steady march to Nazism. Period. Personally, I don't believe anyone should be granted a moral or ethical 'pass'  for remaining silent in the face of injustice and bigotry. 

While I am glad that Presdient BIden gave this speech; it didn't go far enough. So, I'm going to speak to this psychological lapse on the part of the president.
