On the morning of 28 Feb 2026, President Trump announced and the USA launched its much anticipated war upon the people of Iran. CPGB-ML condemns unequivocally the unprovoked, aggressive and Illegal War.

The USA is the principal terrorist state in the world. They are now launching another chapter in their long genocidal history. They have begun their long prepared war on Iran. It is a criminal war of aggression. Without any basis or justification in international law. It is a terrorist act. The highest of international crimes.

But this time it may have a very unhappy ending for them. Iran will defend itself with the help of its allies. Operation True Promise 4 will inflict real damage on the imperialist monster. Trump will get a beating the like of which he has not known.

The people of the entire Middle East must rise in defence of Iran and themselves to Kick the US and European imperialists out of the entire region. No US base can be left in tact. No footprint of “the great satan”, US imperialism, should left upon the soil of the earth.

Israel will be wiped from the map. The genocidal regime will collapse. US Aircraft carriers will end at the bottom of the sea. US troop losses will cripple their ability to terrorise the world.

Be careful what you wish for. THE CRIMINAL US IMPERIALIST RULING CLASS want to wipe out Iran. USA will receive death by their hand. Trump and Netanyahu: Today marks the beginning of the end of your regime.

Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom!

British workers must demand that US bases are ejected from British Soil. Starmer and his criminal regime must be held accountable for their complicity in this illegal war. Labour is a party of imperialism and must be exposed and destroyed.

How the Trump regime was forced into ignominious retreat from the trade war it announced with such fanfare just months before.

The latest round of the US-led hybrid war against China revealed just how badly weakened the machinery of imperial coercion has become. Sanctions, tariffs, export controls and military pressure – the full spectrum of hybrid warfare – have repeatedly failed to produce their intended outcomes. China has maintained its pursuit of industrial planning, technological advance and supply chain control, slowly and steadily undermining the imperialists’ advantages in sector after sector of economic activity.

It’s high time the Argentine working class moves past the failures of ‘Peronism’ and towards a genuine and organised communist-led movement against imperialism.

As in the past during the Menem, De la Rua and Macri administrations, now again since 2023 and the election of Javier Milei, many Peronist legislators and governors who were elected on a platform of social progress have changed sides, abandoning the political project they claimed to support, adapting to the new scenario, and selling their services to the government in power. Peronism has consistently been exposed and found wanting; a genuinely anti-imperialist movement must replace it, with communists at its core and in its vanguard.
