The short documentary video below was posted by Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi on his X account; but minutes later, the social network deleted the documentary and the tweet. The documentary is about how peaceful protests concerning the economic hardships created by the United States', and its lackey's, sanctions that attempt to starve the Iranian country and how these protests have been co-opted and weaponised by Mossad to bring ISIS-like destruction to Iran.

Mossad are attempting to transform the peaceful protests held by the Iranian people into a battlefield front against the Iranian government, and this has lead to the deaths of thousands already.

Those loading cargo ships have a vital strategic place in the economy; we must use this power to stop the war machine.

Dockers at the Italian port of Genoa have repeatedly highlighted the role of their port in the imperialist war machine. They have refused to load cargos that were meant for the wars in Ukraine and Palestine, and have led stoppages and general strikes in solidarity with Palestine. This example needs to be followed and the movement to become widespread. The war machine cannot function without the working class!

This week I spoke with Garland Nixon about regime change failure in Iran, in particular the failure of the psychological operation and the successful crushing of a Mossad/CIA infiltration operation via the location of Starlink units through which violent provocateurs and embedded agents were receiving their instructions.

We talked about the economic crisis that is underpinning the increasingly reckless and rabid war drive, noting the Bank of England's warning regarding impending financial meltdown – and the fact that one narrative that is being considered as a possible ‘explanation’ for the systemic crisis of global capitalism is actually ‘US president confirms the existence of intelligent extra-terrestrial lifeforms’. You couldn't make it up ... could you??

We also discussed two significant anniversaries taking place on the day of our conversation. First, the lifting of the siege of Leningrad on 27 January 1944, a turning point in the course of WW2 and a major triumph of the Soviet people and their socialist system. And second, the liberation of Auschwitz by the Red Army on 27 January 1945, now marked the world over as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

We noted the weaponisation of the Nazi holocaust of European jews and of a new definition of '‘antisemitism’, and talked about how these are part of a propaganda narrative that seeks to use the suffering of one group of people during one imperialist holocaust (the jews murdered by the Nazis) to justify the perpetration of another holocaust (against the Palestinians by the zionists of Israel).

Finally, we noted the work of Comrade Ranjeet Brar and the Right to Protest organisation, which is currently crowdfunding to cover the costs of a judicial review it has filed for to question the legality of rolling out the IHRA ‘definition of antisemitism’ across the NHS and its entire workforce. This rollout was effected by health minister Wes Streeting last November without any consultation, and it effectively makes it a sacking offence for a health worker in Britain to publicly criticise Israel, expose its fascistic guiding ideology of zionism, or oppose its genocide of the Palestinian people.

The debate over language is not an abstract one but a concrete struggle to preserve truth and communicate it to the people.

A major weapon used by the exploiting class in its quest for eternal primacy is narrative control – in particular the falsification of history and the weaponisation of its false narratives to mobilise workers against one another in the interests of profit-seeking and continued imperialist domination of the globe.

Bristol communists call for class unity against imperialist state repression in Britain.

It is hard to believe in the good faith of those who initiated the call for a counter-demonstration. The SWP-controlled Stand Up To Racism group produced a poster that focused not on the politics of the event, but on mocking the slightly juvenile anarchist imagery used in the opening scene of its promotional video. And it falsely presented the demonstration as representing a purely racist force, rather than recognising it as an expression of anti-establishment sentiment with contradictory class content.

As long as the comprador rulers continue to serve the interests of French imperialism, the people will remain impoverished and enslaved.

French troops have already been ejected from neighbouring Burkina Faso, cutting off access to vital resources the imperialists consider to be theirs by right. With the French economy on the rocks, Emmanuel Macron’s regime is heightening authoritarian measures in colonial heartlands like Benin the better to plunder, pillage and protect the interests of Paris-based monopolies. Meanwhile, the use of Nigerian forces to quash a military coup in Benin will only lead to the further destabilisation of both countries’ pro-imperialist regimes.
