With Faith out of the picture, Buffy has no choice but to sacrifice herself to save Angel by having him drink from her (because he is, you might recall, a vampire). Fortunately, Angel avoids draining Buffy completely, and a quick trip to Sunnydale ER and she is good as new! (The same cannot be said for Faith.)
