Opening Bible verse: Luke 1:39-43
How excited was Elizabeth to open her front door and see her cousin, Our Blessed Mother, standing there! Both women had a miracle to share with the other.
Why do friends/neighbors stop over? Is it to share good news? Bring a hot meal? Share in your sorrow? Bring kids for a playdate? Perhaps, they are just lonely and looking for a new friend. Don't let clutter stop you from all these joys of friendship.
On today's podcast episode, I give you three areas you can focus on decluttering, tidying, and cleaning to feel totally confident opening your front door to guests.

Are your money habits all over the place? Do you know which credit card still has some funds available and which ones will cause an embarrassing "declined"!? Are you robbing Peter to pay Paul? Do you feel like you need a bucket brigade to keep the flood waters away?
In today's podcast episode I share a story of when my husband and I had one crazy idea about how we would fund a new car. I'll also give you 3 ways you can begin to calm your financial storm. My dear friend, Lori Haring, joins me on this episode to dive deeper into the idea of breaking through a hangup that keeps us stuck on a task. Lori discovered she has ADHD as an adult and is still learning how to best run her home efficiently despite ADHD trying its best to distract her and block her progress. Lori shares with us how she has successfully won the battle of laundry and dishes in her home and how she's doing with the meal plan we worked on two weeks ago.
If you want to see Gina and Lori in action in this throwback video where we decluttered and organized her linen closet, you can view that here:Linen Closet Declutter & Organize

Opening Bible verse: Genesis 3:15
We all go through hard times. We've all struggled at some point. Why? What is the purpose? Why does life have to be hard?
In today's podcast episode, I challenge you to ask a different question.
Instead of, "God, why does life have to be hard?" ask, "what is the seed you need to germinate in me, God?"

Opening Bible verse: Isaiah 66:1-2
God is always calling us to humble ourselves and that's why I thought this Bible passage was a great choice for this episode. When it comes to running our homes efficiently, sometimes we need to humble ourselves. Sometimes we don't have the answer, sometimes the answer has to come from outside our home. That's how this episode came together today. This past summer I worked on decluttering and organizing my whole house and added an extra Monday episode to track my journey. Until...paper. Did you notice how I went radio silent when it was time to talk about paper in my own home? I was stuck. I finally figured out a system that is working for me but I couldn't figure out how to articulate the reason for my success. After chatting with my bestie this week, she gave me the lightbulb moment I needed. She told me in order to breakthrough any task, we had to discover the hangup. That's it! That was the verbiage I needed to hear! What I discovered this summer was I had a few hangups with a good paper system. Once I found my hangup, I was able to breakthrough and find my solution.
In today's podcast episode I share my hangup with you and share how I was finally able to breakthrough to a system of paper that is working for me.
I mention another episode about how I use a simple black binder to organize the running of my home. You can listen to that episode here:

Opening Bible verse: Genesis 22:15-18
Last week we talked about stepping out in faith to fully trust God with your life. If we trust Him with our lives, how can we not trust Him with our clothing?
In today's podcast episode, I walk you through the process I use with my declutter clients to help them pare down their wardrobes to items that fit, flatter and make them feel fabulous. Worried this will leave you with nothing to wear? Fear not! I give you lots of ideas on how to multiply one outfit several different ways.
Stop over in the private Facebook group for pictures I'm sharing today of my month long trip to Europe last summer. I packed one backpack with clothing for four weeks of travel. See my favorite trick for giving any outfit a different look.

Opening Bible verse: John 3:16-18
Jesus did not die on the cross to condemn us, He died on the cross to set us free. Yet, how many of you allow your wardrobe to keep you back from enjoying that freedom? Do you wake up each morning to a wardrobe fit for the woman God created you to be? Or do you wake up to a wardrobe of a woman who lives without faith? Is it the wardrobe of a woman without complete trust in God's plan for her life?
Girl, step into the light! He did not hang on that cross so you could beat yourself up over a college sweatshirt or a pair of jeans that no longer fit. He hung on that cross so you could be free.
In today's episode, I talk about the connection between your fear of decluttering your wardrobe and the relationship you have with God.
As a professional declutter coach, I work with the homeowner to declutter her home. If it is a whole home project, I persuade the woman to begin in the wardrobe. At the end of our time together I hear things like, "that was so fun", "I thought that would be so much harder", "why did I wait so long to do this?" She has stepped into the light. She has faith that she has plenty of items to wear. She has a wardrobe filled with items that fit, flatter, and make her feel fabulous. She is ready to be the woman God is calling her to be.

Opening Bible Verse: Luke 9:51-56
When Jesus was not met with a welcome reception in the Samaritan village, He didn't agree to James and John's wish to call down fire from heaven to consume the people of the village. Instead, Jesus calmly found another way and went to a different village.
When things are not going your way in your home. When the tasks are never ending and they don't seem to make any difference, you too need to find another way.
Do you wish your days were productive and you felt like you actually had space to breathe? Do you want a closer relationship with God but you are too swamped in the to-do list to hear anything He has to say?
In today's episode I give you a really simple question to ask about each item on your to-do list. See if implementing this strategy helps lighten your load and frees you up a bit to prosper into the woman God is calling you to be.
Head over to the private Facebook group and share your homework along with the ways you will work this week to reduce or eliminate each dreaded task.
