Social media is getting more and more influential and powerful with every second passing.
We can clearly see the influence on us when we have our smartphones ready even before the food arrives on our tables to click its picture and post it on our social media. It is often said that today's generation doesn't click pictures to store memories but to get likes on their respective social media accounts.
When did this shift happen? Since when did we allow social media tp control our lives to this extent? On such topics and much more, listen to Saurabh and Pranay's Puliyabaazi
This is another part of our new endeavor "One Question, Many Answers". This time the question is - "What Makes Social Media Powerful?"

Recently, there has been a lot of unrest in the country over the Agneepath scheme. Under this scheme, the citizens of the country will get a chance to join the army for 3 years. There has been an in-depth discussion on this scheme in the past and will probably continue to happen in the future. Today's Puliyabaazi is also based around this topic.
This is another part of our new endeavor "One Question, Many Answers". This time the question is - "How Tough Will Be The Way Of Agnipath?"

Media is also considered as the fourth pillar of democracy. Each pillar has its own special function and responsibilities. It is not a new thing, if there is an effect on the working of one pillar because of another, but if that effect turns into a hindrance then it can be a worrying thing.
This is another part of our new endeavor "One Question, Many Answers". This time the question is - "Have government policies made the media dependent on advertising?"

If we talk about economic diplomacy, then it can be said that it is nothing but the use of government resources for the development of the country's economy by increasing trade, promoting investment and cooperating on multilateral trade agreements, etc. It is also used to fulfill and promote foreign policy objectives.
This is another part of our new endeavor "One Question, Many Answers". This time the question is - "Should Indian States Engage in Economic Diplomacy?"

There is a lot of speculation over the number of lives lost due to COVID-19 in India. The government-reported estimates vary significantly from those estimated by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Estimating this number well is important for designing public policy measures to combat future pandemics. So, in this episode, we spoke with Mihir Mahajan, adjunct fellow at the Takshashila Institution, who has co-authored a paper that estimates COVID-19 deaths using publicly available insurance data. Mihir discusses the system for registration of deaths in India, and the reasons for undercounting COVID-19 deaths.
