Y’all get out your notebooks because we are diving DEEP into Human Design. Erin describes Human Design as your energetic DNA. It sheds light on your emotional, psychological and energetic makeup, giving you the self-awareness and tools to align with your unique nature and step into your highest potential in every area of your life. In this episode Erin breaks down the 5 types of Human Designs (Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, and Reflector), and helps us uncover the tools and self knowledge to honor our own uniqueness.
Human Design is not about changing who you are, it’s about giving yourself permission to be who you’ve always been.

This week I could not be more excited to sit down with skincare guru, Annie Tevelin. After struggling to heal her cystic acne, Annie felt disillusioned by the beauty industry and turned to herself to heal her skin. After going back to school for cosmetic chemistry she was able to heal her skin in 30 days (for anyone who has struggled with cystic acne, you know this is INSANE!) using simple, natural, clean ingredients. This experience inspired to create a Facebook group called, 'The SkinOwl' offering professional insight into skincare, makeup and a platform for driving home the importance of self-care.
Annie quickly realized that when talking to people about their skin it so often ties into their self worth and insecurities. It was through this ‘aha moment’ that Annie decided showcase vulnerability in a new way, and created one of my favorite podcasts Off The Record.
Whether its hanging with her family or hosting a table of amazing humans at SkinOwl's dinner collective - The Parliament Project, Annie understands that true beauty starts from the inside and radiates out. I feel so fortunate to have been on the receiving end of Annie’s vulnerability in truly one of my favorite conversations. What started as a chat on skincare quickly evolved to topics like, divorce, motherhood and the importance of real connection.

Today we are sitting down with founder of Ascent Strategy - Sophia Sunwoo. Sophia believes it’s possible to live a life where your work gives you purpose while creating a world that you want to live in — a kinder, more inclusive world that puts people over profit. Sophia is a 3x startup founder (she founded her first company when she was 22!) and has been recognized by Forbes, African Business Review, and ELLE Magazine. From artisans to health coaches, Sophia is on a mission to help women-led startups off the ground.
In this episode Sophia explains how she thinks of failure as “guardrails,” and how she has learned to let go of the expectations others have placed on her. I ask Sophia about the importance of mentorship and why personal growth is so essential for success. This conversation is all about embracing your gifts to unlock your greatest potential.

Fanny is a writer, curator, co-founder of the design brand, Permanent Collection and daughter of Chez Panisse founder Alice Waters. We sit down mid Covid (via zoom of course) to discuss Fanny’s new book Always Home. Always Home is part memoir, part cookbook, and a beautifully written look into life as Alice Water’s daughter.
In this conversation, we go beyond the book to chat about “beauty as a language of care,” being raised by a village, + the responsibility of a consumer.

Sami’s freelance + small biz career began in 2017 after leaving a job she loved at a company with a toxic culture. Her husband put a patch design on Etsy that she drew and they incredulously watched it sell out, taking that as a cue to do something with her artwork inspired by the outdoors! With years of experience in marketing and design, Sami launched The Unexpected Type: a full service design studio filled with adventure goodies. As it continues to grow, it's Sami’s mission to encourage others (especially women) to explore the outdoors, camp and go off-roading.
In this conversation we chat about Sami’s creative process and finding inspiration, brand identity, and how she brings together various facets of her creativity.

What’s your relationship with intuition? After being disillusioned by the “big ad agency world” this week’s guest Tara Debek set out to create an intuition led alternative T. Digital.
I am a fan of anyone who wants to shake up the status quo, but throw in some woo woo and you really have my heart. Tara seeks to create intentional connections with the brands of tomorrow, and is a firm believer in business with a third "bottom line.” We chat about building a business in an intentional way, shame patterns, balancing the masculine/feminine and so much more!
