This week marks a positive turning point in 2021. After the intensity of last week here in Texas Mercury is no longer retrograde and Mars moves out of the fiery sign of Aries into the earthy Taurus. Some of the strongest people have this placement in their chart like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mike Tyson. As we move into spring this is a great time to get more physically active. We are just weeks away from Jupiter moving out of debilitation and into Aquarius which will bring great relief from all of the issues around Covid. The UK just announced their plans to end lockdown that coincide exactly with astrological transits. This Saturday brings the Full Moon in Leo in Purva Phalguni Nakshatra. Finish a creative project this week so you can take time this weekend to enjoy the fruits of your work. Celebrate, enjoy good music, food, entertainment, artistic and creative interests. Well, last week sure was a turning point in the year! The weather emergency and blackout here in Texas left me and millions without power or water for days, hence the delay in this episode. I'll share the insights I learned about blackouts, our current Rahu/Ketu 18 month transit (and the fascinating Kala Sarpa Yoga we are in now) and how this surprisingly all related to the 1962 transit I mentioned last week. We have two significant transits this week, both on Saturday with Venus and Mercury. I'll share my insights and perspective from this roller coaster week and how we can make the most of all of this from a yogic, holistic and empowering perspective.

This week is a significant turning point in the year. Feb 11th brings a New Moon + a stellium that happens once very 60 years. Dhanistha is a powerful nakshatra for building wealth - not just material but mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually too. Today is MLK Jr day and we celebrate the legacy of Dr King and the transformational time we are living in with a performance by Nina Simone of a song she wrote in 1964 about the civil rights movement at the time. This week in Vedic Astrology transits we enter a 19 year cycle that we have not been in since 1773 - the time of the American and French Revolutions. On top of all the other big cycles this year, this is another major turning point for Western culture. It kicked off earlier this year - Pluto already entered Capricorn in late Feb but retrograded back to Sag in late June. Now it is in Capricorn to stay for 19 years marking massive political changes.
