Randy Baumann and the DVE Morning Show

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette asked Mike Tomlin yesterday about how much playing time Devin Bush will get in Week 1 against the Patriots. His response left some room for doubt in terms of Bush playing the entire game. A similar approach was taken last year with first rounder Terrell Edmonds getting a "part-time" label, but ended up leading the league in snaps among rookies. Regardless, Steeler Nation is amped for their first round pick to have a dramatic impact on the 2019 version of the Steeler Defense.

A lot has changed in the thirty years since Merril Hoge first appeared on the DVE airwaves - nutrition and dietetics are no exception. In his day, if you wanted to gain weight in the offseason, you lifted and ate potatoes, maybe even a banana split, too! But thats not what Tom Brady does (or any athlete for that matter). And when it comes to the Steelers passing game, there are plenty of calories to make up for, especially with the departure of Antonio Brown. How can the Steelers passing game evolve? Jalen Samuels and James Conner will have to participate. And find out how Merril felt about Andrew Luck's botched retirement announcement.

Steelers captain Cam Heyward prefers Wendy's Spicy Chicken sandwiches and home made mac and cheese to the fancy stuff, but is most bothered by the Steelers inability to outlast everyone else in the NFL, but you gotta make the playoffs in order to have a chance and that all starts on Sunday night in Foxboro. #BeTheDragon
