Randy Baumann and the DVE Morning Show

Bit of a wonky morning today as we experienced technical difficulties for the first hour of the show, our apologies. Billy Gardell joins us for the 9am hour and discloses an interesting influence behind his comedic voice and gives us a glimpse inside his garage. What do you think Billy's daily driver is? It surely isn't those "uber scooters" that are all around the Baltimore/DC area as Randy found out this past weekend. Would those work in the 'Burgh? It would be great for Steeler tailgates!

It was quite the eventful weekend at PNC Park for the Buccos, who capped a sweep of the visiting San Diego Padres with a walk-off walk from Kevin Newman in the 11th inning yesterday. Despite dwelling in last place and enduring numerous injuries to key players all season, rookies Bryan Reynolds along with Newman have been a bright spot so far. But when will Jameson Taillon likely rejoin the rotation?

It's been an uneventful off-season so for for the cap-strapped Penguins (other than the Olli Maata trade), but what else can Pens fans expect in the coming weeks now that the NHL draft has come and gone, and when will this past weekend's selections make their debut on the big stage?

Jesse Marshall of The Athletic recaps the Pens action this past weekend at the 2019 NHL Draft in Vancouver and whether or not GMJR will deal some big names in the coming weeks, or if he even SHOULD. Rob Biertempfel (also of The Athletic) recaps a wild weekend at PNC Park and when the Pirates can realistically expect Jameson Taillon to rejoin the rotation.

Former Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell was the victim of a crime, and we've obtained the 911 call. Toy Story 4 and Child's Play will debut in theaters this weekend, and that's just too much doll movement for Sean Collier's taste. And Gene the Werewolf perform in the DVE Coffeehouse ahead of the DVE Rocker tomorrow at Stage AE!

The former Steelers running back found himself on the unfortunate end of a one night stand when two girls robbed his apartment of his jewelry, money, and other personal items ... wonder what THAT could be?
