Jonny Morelli, better known as Jonny Juicer, joins Dave at the Vegan Wellness Retreat in Northern Michigan for an honest conversation about raw veganism, juicing, grief, emotional eating, personal transformation, and finding his way back after losing momentum.
Jonny shares how growing up in an Italian family in Chicago shaped his early relationship with food. He recounts experiencing digestive problems from childhood, receiving an IBS diagnosis in high school, and eventually reaching a personal turning point in his early 30s.
Inspired to change his habits, Jonny began making green juice, transitioned from vegetarian to vegan, and eventually adopted a predominantly raw-food lifestyle. He discusses the ethical motivation behind becoming vegan, the social pressures involved, and the personal changes he says he experienced along the way.
The conversation also explores the more difficult side of transformation. After losing his mother in 2020, Jonny says cooked vegan food became a coping mechanism and a way of numbing grief. Over time, he felt disconnected from the lifestyle and sense of purpose he had previously built.
Jonny explains what motivated him to start again, why maintaining a raw vegan lifestyle is personally important to him, and how boxing, basketball, and regular movement helped him process grief. He also reflects on completing his first amateur boxing match at age 44.
More than a conversation about food, this episode explores resilience, identity, grief, rebuilding healthy habits, and what it means to come back after losing your way.

In this episode of Rapid Regeneration, Dave sits down with John Bordonero (raw_alchemy) to explore his 15-year journey with a high-raw, fruit-centered plant-based lifestyle.
John shares how burnout, fatigue, and thyroid concerns led him to search for natural solutions, eventually discovering the raw vegan and fruit-based approach promoted by figures like Durianrider, Freelee, and Dr. Doug Graham. What followed was a dramatic shift toward a diet centered on whole fruits, smoothies, juices, and low-fat plant foods.
The conversation explores practical topics people frequently ask about when researching raw vegan diets and fruit-based nutrition, including calorie intake, raw-till-dinner eating patterns, smoothies vs whole fruit, hydration, and intuitive eating. John also discusses the mindset and spiritual shifts that accompanied his lifestyle change.
Dave and John also talk about community gatherings like Texas Fruit Festival and Vegan Wellness Retreat, where people interested in plant-based living, detoxification discussions, and holistic health come together.

Brian shares his personal journey as a lifelong athlete and wrestler, how chronic stress and overtraining shaped his baseline breathing, and why he believes nervous system regulation can be the missing link for sleep, recovery, and sustainable performance. They also dig into nasal vs mouth breathing during workouts, CO2 tolerance, HRV, and why “one-size-fits-all” breathwork protocols don’t work the same for everyone.

In this episode of Rapid Regeneration, I sit down with Scott Burnhard for a real conversation about discipline, health transformation, and how to rebuild your life when you’ve been knocked down. Scott shares what it was like growing up in the Bronx surrounded by processed food and fast food, how he started connecting the dots between inflammation and what he was eating, and why his journey wasn’t “cold turkey”—it was progression, built step by step.
We also get into the emotional side: trying to help loved ones who aren’t receptive, navigating grief, and learning how to keep your heart open without forcing your path on anyone. Scott talks about the mindset shift that helped him stop making excuses, build self-discipline, and stay consistent—plus how he uses breaks (including social media breaks) to stay grounded and purposeful.
This conversation is for anyone searching for fitness motivation, personal growth, healthier habits, or a plant-based lifestyle approach rooted in real life experience. Nothing here is medical advice—this episode is about perspective, education, and taking ownership of your choices. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes related to fasting, detox protocols, or your diet—especially if you have any medical conditions.

In this episode of Rapid Regeneration, Dave sits down with Ellen Livingston to unpack what it really takes to transition into a raw vegan, high-fruit lifestyle over decades—without rigidity, guilt, or chasing perfection. Ellen shares her personal healing arc (injury, digestion struggles, mindset shifts), how she discovered natural hygiene and fruit-based eating, and why a clean diet can “reveal everything” emotionally.
They go deeper than food: how digestion and emotional reactivity drain energy, the difference between “power vs force” living, why people bond through complaint, and how to stay grounded when your choices (raw foods, personal growth, lifestyle design) don’t match the norms around you. Ellen also opens up about navigating relationships, parenting across two households, nervous system regulation for highly sensitive people, and building a “river-person” life with flexibility, values, and self-trust.
