It's easy to relax our standards as believers to compromise. Pastor Ray Bentley says, Whatever it is, stand your ground. You will find yourself at some point in your life where there will be something that will seem to other people trite, trivial, or even where you have to draw a line and say, Because I am a Christian, I will not go over this line. It takes courage, and trust me, God is watching
King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had nefarious plans for Israel. But pastor Ray Bentley says God's sovereignty had another plan. The purpose of the King of Babylon was to change the children of Israel and the children of the world. And what's interesting is that rather than Nebuchadnezzar infecting Daniel with Babylon, Daniel began to so infuse the kingdom of God into the Gentile world, spread.
Pastor Ray Bentley points out, God takes even the tragedies of life and uses them in his master plan. God directs all things. He is sovereign. God is even using terrorism. Why would God allow terrorism and suicide bombers and stand these fanatics who want to kill as many people as they can? God uses everything. He weighs nothing. He is literally on the throne.
Pastor Ray Bentley says God has a plan for male spiritual leadership, but sometimes he also has a plan B. How many of you are familiar with the woman and the story in the Old Testament of Deborah? Israel was a place where there was no man leading. There was no man who had faith in God and who trusted God.
When Jesus returns for his church, there won't be a gigantic neon countdown clock. Pastor Ray Bentley says it'll happen very, very fast. And let me ask you this question. Are you ready? Are you and your life ready? If Jesus were to come tonight? Are you ready to meet him? Is your life ready? Put on faith. Love the helmet of salvation.
Pastor Ray Bentley explains, the angels of heaven are waiting expectantly for a party to happen any moment. In the same way I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over just one hears all these angels watching the circumference of humanity, watching what you're watching, and they see one. Oh, there's one Lord, I'm sorry, you know. And he repents and gives his life to the Lord. And the angels go. Yes, there's another one.
Ever wonder what kind of contact we might be having with angels? Pastor Ray Bentley says our prayers may put them into action when God hears a prayer. I believe much of the time he actually sends angelic beings for actually going before you to let you find favor, to bring you into favor, who are opening doors, sometimes closing doors, who are protecting you and watching over you.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley talks about the guardian angels the Lord assigns to believers for their care. I think that the number one love of angels is to worship Jesus. So when they know you're going to church, I think the angels are ecstatic. I think they're excited because then when a bunch of Christians get together, that means all the angels of all those Christians get together.
Pastor Ray Bentley pulls back the veil to the heavenlies and helps give us a peek at the Kingdom of God today on Maranatha Radio. The Kingdom of God is not a place as much as it is a person. Where I am, you may also be. And I'll tell you, that's heaven. Trust me, wherever Jesus is, that's heaven.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out, we can learn a lot from witnessing the fall of a certain high ranking angel. Lucifer was created like all angels, to bring glory to God instead. Satan wanted to be worshiped as a God. And so it's a good lesson for us if you want to have the philosophy that I will do what I want, when I want, how I want, and no one will tell me how to live.
