Prophecy often reveals its pinpoint accuracy. Pastor Ray Bentley says such was the case with a familiar verse. You've heard this scripture. This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. What day is it talking about? The fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel. The day that we call and celebrate is Palm Sunday, the week before Easter.
Ever feel really small in the presence of God? Pastor Ray Bentley says that's what makes his grace so much greater. Here is a little man on earth, smaller than a grain of sand. And yet this little speck on that little grain of sand speaks and thinks and mouths some words. And the great God of the universe hears it. How encouraging.
Today on Maranatha radio, pastor Ray Bentley points out how our culture resists God's ways, and it says his judgment is too quick and too harsh. No, God, we don't want your book. We don't want your heaven. We don't want your narrow way. We don't want the cross. We will do it without you. God isn't doing anything per se to us.
God likes us to confess our dependence on him. But today, pastor Ray Bentley points out that's way out of step with the world. In which we live. Our culture looks down on weakness. God says weakness is a universal human experience. And God says, rather than being ashamed of your weakness, come to me. Let me be your wisdom. Let me be your strength.
Pastor Ray Bentley warns us, Satan wants to keep as much distance as possible between us and our Heavenly Father. The biggest concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. I think that he fears when you and I call upon our father. And the reason is he's not afraid of us. He's not intimidated by us. What he is scared of is when you close your eyes.
God is patient, long-suffering. He puts up with a lot from his rebellious kids. But pastor Ray Bentley says that won't last forever. What do you think a holy God thinks as he just observes our world right now? Taking advantage. Exploitation, greed. Someday, and maybe not as far off as we think. The transgression will be full, and God himself will finally say, I've had enough.
Alexander the Great. Not a biblical character. But pastor Ray Bentley says he didn't escape God's notice. There is no authority. But what God has established it. And while Alexander sought to establish his kingdom, God was using Alexander the Great to establish his kingdom. You see, God rules in the affairs of men because history is actually his story spread.
Today on Maranatha radio. Pastor Ray Bentley reminds believers that we can't neglect our study of God's plan for the last days. I believe in times, events of Bible prophecy may be moving much, much faster than the church is aware of today. We ought to keep our eyes peeled looking on Jesus, because before the Antichrist everything appears and does his thing.
Israel is a tiny country about the size of Massachusetts, but the world's eyes seem to be continually on this land. Pastor Ray Bentley points out the pivotal place Israel is in. What is the best way to bring peace in the world? The only way that there will be peace in the world is when there is peace in Israel, the Middle East.
Coming up today, pastor Ray Bentley highlights one of the most spectacular, pivotal days heaven and Earth will ever experience. God the Father and divine. Supernatural. Sudden, catastrophic. Spectacular judgment defeats the Antichrist. Then his son comes, stands before him, and the father says, son, I give now you all the nations of the earth. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up and read in the paper?
