The Tampa Bay Rays comeback to beat the New York Mets 7-5. The Rays got down 5-1 after a mistake filled 5th inning put the Mets on top. But the Rays would respond in a massive way in the top of the 6th. The Rays got the bases loaded with 0 outs and Jake Mangum hit a 2 RBI single to make it 5-3. After a RBI groundout by Jose Caballero made it 5-4, Kameron Misner would tie the game with a 2 out RBI single. The Rays were not done there. Danny Jansen hit a monster 2 run home run to give the Rays a 7-5 lead and cap off a 6 run inning. The Mets would threaten in the last 4 innings but the Rays bullpen would keep them at bay to get the win. The Rays will go for the series win tomorrow night.
