The Tampa Bay Rays showed stellar pitching, great defense and timely hitting on all three games facing the Detroit Tigers on their way to a weekend sweep. Although the Tigers are projected to be one of the worst teams in the American League, the Rays came out doing exactly what they needed to do--play the game to their own talent level, not the opponent's. The starting rotation had a fantastic weekend with Shane McClanahan, Zach Eflin and Jeffrey Springs looking sharp, the latter taking a no-hitter through six innings. Wander Franco and Jose Siri were important offense contributors as the former is 7-11, with a HR and 3 doubles (with a steal!) to start the year. What were your favorite moments of this weekend?
