The Tampa Bay Rays were successful this weekend by taking 2 out of 3 games from the Texas Rangers. Although they dropped the first affair on Friday, they had bases loaded and lost a one-run game. The bats did just enough in the next two games and the pitching has kept up its pace and delivered. Now, the Rays will face another team from Texas, the Houston Astros for three games and the Astros’ magic number to clinch is 1. Could this mean that the Rays will face a weaker lineup on Tuesday and Wednesday if Houston pulls a win on Monday and/or the Seattle Mariners lose?
