He dives into his personal story, from growing up in Hawaii to learning to surf from Rabbit Kekai, his biggest influences as a surfer, and shaping his own surfboards. He also talks all things Sunset, including his thoughts about the wave as a stop on the Championship Tour, how the greats left their mark on Sunset, and the shift to Pipeline as “The Place.” In the first “Top 5” segment of the podcast, Randy gives his top five moments of North Shore lore.
