Two Near-Death Experiences as a child introduced Susan Walter to the truth that angels exist. Many years later, these angels told her to draw them. One little problem... Susan didn't know how! Now Susan Walter is a visionary artist, painting the angels she sees—hers and clients'. She is also an award-winning cover artist and creator of mandala coloring books.

You'll notice something different about this episode. It is geared toward peace in Ukraine. The MindBodySpirit.fm podcast network have asked their hosts to produce special episodes to address the crisis in Ukraine if they feel called to offer any special help or guidance to make sense of this tragic event. In this episode, I pull cards and channel high-level angels to gain perspective on the situation.

Recorded from my home, you will notice the sounds of my pets coming around to participate in the energy. Please pray for Ukraine and those involved in the conflict. And please consider making a donation to help Ukrainians with basic needs here

David Ditchfield was dragged under a train outside of London and had a profound experience of healing with a team of angelic beings. After his subsequent Near Death Experience, he felt compelled to paint his experience and later, to write a symphony—with no formal training in art or composition.

On May 16, 1986, the unspeakable happened in the small, heavily Mormon town of Cokeville, Wyoming. David and Doris Young entered the town's elementary school heavily armed with several guns and a homemade bomb. What ensued shouldn't have happened—but it did. Despite the detonation of a deadly bomb, all of the hostages—children, teachers, staff, and even a UPS driver—survived. The only casualties were the Youngs.

There were many miracles that day: The bomb had been inexplicably altered; fumes from the gasoline bomb caused the windows to be open, making escape possible; and though there were 79 people injured, some severely, all made full recoveries. But the biggest miracle was told by the children after the incident.

This week Christi interviews Michael J. Lichens, U.S. spokesperson for Encounters with Angels: The Invisible Companions of Our Spiritual Life and editor of Editor of Catholic Exchange about all things angelic. What are guardian angels? On May 22, 2011, an EF5 tornado ripped through Joplin, Missouri. In the days following the disaster, children began talking about the mysterious helpers who kept them safe. Who are these people and what happened that Sunday in May? Then Kathy calls in from Illinois with the story of angels who appeared in her kitchen at a vulnerable time (and who apparently like tuna).
