Recap Call: We catch up with Tom Smude, founder of Smude Oil, Popcorn and flavored oils as they launch a vanilla baking Smude Oil. (Season 1 Ep 37)
We first visited with Tom Smude from Smude Sunflower Oil back in April of 2017. (Season 1 Ep. 37) when he and his family started harvesting sunflower seed oil as a way to diversify their crops and provide a protein source for their cattle. Before long, Smude oil was a cooking oil, flavoring, base for Smude Microwave popcorn and now they are introducing a seasonal vanilla baking oil to their line of products.
We catch up with Tom at the culmination of a wet growing season.
