This week we are joined by Hannah Aoki, who announced in May that she had accepted a full athlete scholarship to the University of North Carolina. Hannah was a little bit of a late bloomer to college recruiting as she didn’t become a level 10 until her sophomore year of high school but she was determined and willing to do whatever it took to achieve her goal of becoming a college gymnast. After winning the all-around title in the All-Star East division at nationals this year, Hannah received the phone call she had been waiting and hoping for from UNC. Today Hannah joins us to talk about her recruiting journey and share some advice about trusting the process and not comparing your journey to others.
