Rediscovering Self with Amrutam is a podcast by Amrutam, an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Brand & Wellness Community. Season 2 of this podcast will focus on the 5,000 year old science of Ayurveda. From lifestyle disorders to issues of binge-eating and self-image, we unpack each of these thoughts with different doctors and experts who share their advise and insights integrating Ayurveda in our modern lifestyles. This podcast is hosted by Shweta Dalmia, founder and CEO of Climapreneur where she shares stories and learnings of entrepreneurs driving Climate Change. Come tune in and learn how we can lead healthier and happier lives with Ayurveda!
In the first episode of the podcast, host Shweta speaks with Mr. Ashok Gupta, Founding Principal at Amrutam. Amrutam was established over 15 years ago as a family business and it was in 2017 when his children Stuti and Agnim decided to join the family business of making Ayurvedic recipes and took it online. The ancient texts and rituals have been a constant source of inspiration and motivation for Mr. Gupta. He firmly believes that if one were to look well enough, we could find solutions to all our problems in the texts left behind by our ancestors. He applies similar principles while creating and adjusting his Ayurvedic recipes. The recipe for every single product that Amrutam caters is his own personal blend and Mr. Gupta has spent many a day tweaking and fine-tuning them.

It aims to simplify and personalizse the process of seeking therapy in South Asia by connecting individuals to the right, qualified, culturally competent therapists for themselves and building niche support groups that foster group healing.

Sometimes, the thought of broaching a subject can make us feel terrified, uncertain, unsure, and closed off. Sometimes, we may even feel an inertia when it comes to taking feedback. All of this involves confrontation, which does not need to be as negative as one might think it is.
In this episode, Preethi talks to Ishani Badyal, a psychologist-psychotherapist, about where this behaviour comes from, where its root lies, why confrontation is necessary, and what we can do as individuals to make the process a little easier for ourselves.

How often have we casually thrown this statement around? "I have a ton of work and it's all piled up because I procrastinate so much". Here's the thing - this 'behaviour' is coming from somewhere, and if you've ever wondered WHY you procrastinate at all and how you can try changing it, this episode is for you.
In this episode, our host Preethi talks to Rhea Gandhi and unpacks the thoughts and emotions behind procrastination. Why do we do it? What's going on in our mind when we do? Is there any way to stop procrastinating?
