The Cincinnati Reds pulled off a thrilling 3-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday afternoon at Great American Ball Park. Austin Hays played the hero with a walk-off RBI single in the 10th inning, but Jose Trevino had two clutch at-bats earlier—driving in a run with a sac fly in the 7th and tying the game with an RBI single in the 9th. Andrew Abbott continued his excellent season, throwing 7 shutout innings to give the Reds a chance. The victory snapped the Brewers’ 14-game winning streak while also keeping Cincinnati as the only team in baseball to avoid being swept this year.
