The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-4 on Saturday afternoon at Great American Ball Park. Elly De La Cruz powered the Reds' offense, going 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs, a stolen base, and a walk. Andrew Abbott delivered a strong performance on the mound, allowing just one run over 5.2 innings and lowering his season ERA to 1.77. The Reds held off a late Cubs rally to secure the win and now have a chance to take the series in Sunday’s finale.
