The Cincinnati Reds swept a Saturday doubleheader against the Arizona Diamondbacks, highlighted by strong performances on both sides of the ball. Christian Encarnacion-Strand delivered the Reds’ first walk-off hit of the season in the conclusion of Friday night's rain-delayed game, then sparked the offense in Game 2 with a three-run homer. Gavin Lux added to the fireworks with a grand slam in the fourth inning, his second home run as a Red and first at Great American Ball Park. Reds pitching was dominant across the 13 innings played, allowing just one run on eight hits. Cincinnati will look to complete the sweep on Sunday.
