How much playing time will veterans like Terry McLaurin play?  What about Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne?  And with Logan Thomas and Saadhiq Charles sitting out nursing calf injuries, what will their replacements, Chris Paul and Cole Turner do?

But of course the biggest question and the whole reason to watch a meaningless game is to see how Sam Howell looks.  Will he look the part as starting QB in the NFL?

But they don’t do it alone.  They speak with Channel 7 Sports anchor and reporter Natalie Spala.  Even though she’s only been in the area for a few weeks, she’s already got a good feel for what the organization is about and what players she’s looking forward to seeing in action.

Maryland Governor Wes Moore made an appearance in burgundy and gold to pitch his state as the one to land the stadium deal. The team hires more top end people in the front office as things start to change for the Josh Harris led group. Ref the District also discusses the rumors of a frosty relationship between Ron Rivera and Jason Wright. Then it's time for Washington to face off against Cleveland!

Cool Down - Preseason game 1 is this Friday against the Cleveland Browns. While the starters are planning on playing much, if at all, Ref the District goes over expectations and how they think things will play out.

Game - Stoner made it to the Washington Commanders camp! He gives us all the stories on his experience and tells us who he thinks is on the rise and who he is worried about!

Warm up - Eric Bieniemy stands his ground when his coaching was called into question. Ref the District goes over why they love his response.

Coach Rivera said some guys came to him with concerns about EB’s style of coaching.  Rivera told them to go directly to EB to work it out.  EB said he will always be loud, and brash but in the end he will always support his players.

So in the end it wasn’t a big deal but it got enough attention that former Chiefs receiver and current Dolphins receiver Ty Hill had to go to social media to let everyone know how much he loves EB and how every player will be better having been coached by him.

On the field, it was a good day for the offense.  Sam Howell was sharp and hooked up with Terry McLaurin on numerous plays.  In 1v1 drills, DE Montez Sweat had his way with pretty much everyone on the Offensive Line

Today at Commanders training camp in Ashburn, Virginia Jacoby Brissett took control of the first team for a few reps. Ref the District goes over why the Howellers shouldn't be worried and Stoner goes off on Ron Rivera. The Commanders added another versatile piece to the defensive back room in Joshua Kalu. They made room by putting on Trev's seasonal favorite Troy Apke on injured reserve. Punter Tress Way is dealing with a back issue. The Commanders auditioned a couple of options in case the former Sooner misses anytime. Way is expected to be available for the game Friday.
