There is always one wife of an NFL player who ingratiates herself as the team mom.  For the  @Washington Commanders that's Jen Leno.

Jen is a Super Mom.  Ever since she was in college, Jen has earned the nickname Momma Jen.  It's in her blood to take care of people, be the shoulder to lean on and even bring snacks to the Commanders facility prior to game day.

However, who takes care of Jen?  With 3 kids, 3 dogs and a husband who is basically out of the house for 7 months of the year, it's up to Jen to invent ways to make sure she's taking care of herself before she can take care of others.

We spoke to Jen about being a doctoral student, an executive director of a non-profit, a mom and of course being the wife of the left tackle for the Washington Commanders.  Enjoy!

We call it DAY AFTER RECKONING

Week 1 is in the books and what a week it was.  The Washington Commanders got off to an early lead thanks to 2 touchdown passes from Carson Wentz, one to Curtis Samuel and another to Jahan Dotson.

The game started to slip away starting in the 2nd quarter and lasting into the 4th quarter as Washington's offense got stuck in neutral and Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence got into a groove.  Wentz didn't help matters by throwing 2 touchdowns.

However, unlike in years past, the Commanders fought back and scored 2 4th quarter touchdowns as Carson hooked up on a long pass to Terry McLaurin and connected on a 2nd touchdown with rookie Jahan Dotson.
