Tim Hightower has a very inspiring story. A standout on the football field since he was young, Tim spent most of his life chasing his dream to become an NFL running back. His dream came true after being drafted in the 5th round by the Arizona Cardinals.
In 2011 he was traded to his hometown team, the Washington Redskins. It was supposed to be the height of his success as the team named him the starter prior to the season. However in only his 6th game with the team, Tim's season ended when he tore his ACL.
What followed in an inspiring tale of heart, determination and most importantly, faith. As detailed in his newly released book, A Dream Worth Fighting For, Tim returned to the NFL 4 years later, a feat never before accomplished in the NFL.
Tim joined the boys to talk about his journey, his life off the field and his new role as Director of Alumni with the Washington Commanders.
