  • Episode 259: Resistance is Futile
Just a few weeks after House of Mouse CEO Bob Iger conceded they may be pushing out Star Wars content "too much to fast" Disney XD's newest animated offering Star Wars: Resistance has landed. As is their new tradition, the Regular Joe's review the pilot episode and weigh in with their thoughts. Is it a worthy successor to Clone Wars and Rebels? Is it even intended to be? As one might guess, opinions are mixed. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into a lunar orbit another film has been released about the US space program. Dave and Tod both checked out First Man in its first weekend, and while the film has failed to draw audiences, at least two viewers liked what they saw. Find out what distinguishes this film from others like The Right Stuff (1985) and Apollo 13 (1995) And if it's truly possible, as Tod states, to make an "intimate" film on one of the most watched events in human history. All this plus What's in the Box and the usual helping of Random Topic. Thanks for listening!

  • Episode 250: Should you Choose to Accept it...
Hello Podcast Listener. For at least 250 episodes Dave has been trying to convince Barry and Tod that Tom Cruse's Mission Impossible series is worth checking out.
