  • RC 0022: Earning Trust (With Your Boss) While Working From Home
Today's tip is all about fighting for comms! In other words, keeping up clear communications to ensure you and your boss (or you and your team members) stay on the same page on activities and progress.
If there's one point to remember, it's that communication is a two way street. If a request or instruction isn't clear, just ask for clarification by saying, 'I'm not sure I completely understand. Can we work through that one more time?'
How are you and your team communicating to try and and maintain trust and understanding?

  • RC 0020: How To Respond Now That We're Seeing Into Each Other's Home
Seeing your team "in their home" gives you a different perspective on who they are, and for some that means knowing and understanding them on a deeper level. That can be welcomed or not.
Today's tip is to make the most of that opportunity!
It all begins with having the conversation with your team by asking are you OK for us to see inside your home. If the answer is YES, carry on :)
If the answer is 'not really', then consider tactics like virtual backgrounds, turning off the video, going outside or taking walking meetings.

Try hosting a cooking class for that amazing grilled cheese sandwich or teach your team how to make that killer cocktail. Even better, make that WFH snack!
