Brett McMurphy from Action Network reports that the Big Ten and SEC are not interested in adding Florida State and Clemson. On FSU, his sources say it doesn’t make financial sense, those conference are done expanding for now, and they consider Florida State to be a “disruptive partner.” According to the report, the SEC or Big Ten would only add the Seminoles in the event of the ACC completely falling apart, making them free agents. 

Hosts Alex Donno and Kenton Gibbs wonder if McMurphy’s sources have reason to not be entirely truthful about the situation. Perhaps they are downplaying FSU as part of a negotiating ploy or dismissing them in order to avoid tampering charges. If the report is fully true, this would be very bad news for the Seminoles. Donno and Gibbs preview the NC State Wolfpack for the upcoming football season. NC State can rely on a solid defense, but people are sleeping on their offense after adding QB Grayson McCall, WR Noah Rogers and RB Jordan Waters.
