Our guest today did not hold back with the value they provided, and yet, I feel like we only scratched the surface. Yeah, you are going to want to take some notes during this one.
Today, we have Katie Plumb, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in complex trauma, attachment wounds and grief. She runs her private practice from Long Beach, California and has been practicing for a decade.
Not only that, Katie, runs a trauma program and provides clinical supervision in Artesia, and supervision and groups for a virtual social justice agency.
Like many people who help others, Katie went searching for healing modalities that would help her with her own c-PTSD. One such tool was brainspotting, which we will discuss during this episode. Now, she is trained in Brainspotting and is passionate about delivering this healing and the same results she found for her clients.
Katie went searching for answers. The answers she found in her own healing journey radically changed her life and now, she is doing her part in ensuring that others find healing and peace, just like she did.
Katie wears her heart on her sleeve, she is down to earth, easy to talk to, and makes you feel safe. These qualities, and so many more, are what make her an incredible Social Worker. I am so grateful for the time we spent together, and I am so grateful to share her wisdom here with you.
