In this "Monday mindset'' episode, I am sharing my experience with scriptwriting as a part of the extended work of affirmations and how I apply this to money stories. It’s not as simple as standing and speaking affirmations. It is about changing your thoughts from the level of your subconscious mind. These are the steps I use to write a script for my brain to focus on where it is going. After running a 2 hour scripting workshop in early December, it reminded me the importance of money stories.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) Awareness, unpacking and looking at your money stories. 2) Start with your gratitude for where you are today and what your key values are and what you want to change.
3) Writing a letter to money as though it is a person, an entity or a friend. How have you treated it in your life and if it were a friend, would it still choose to be in your life?
3) Writing, re-writing, speaking it out loud, or recording the script on your phone to listen to regularly.
