At the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour this Friday, we welcome back to the show attorney and former House of Delegates member, our friend Tim Anderson. Tim (not to be confused with Rich) talks to Gary about President's Trump forthcoming, New York criminal trial -- and the troubling implications thereof.
"It's Friday. . . ." Indeed it is, which means that Clay Hamner of Lythos Studios is here to tell us what we can do for fun in and around town this beautiful spring weekend.
At the bottom of the 7 o'clock hour, we check back in with our good friend, State Senate Minority Leader Ryan McDougle. Senator McDougle talks to Gary about the aftermath of this week's Veto Session on Capitol Square -- and previews a May session that will occur to address state budget negotiations.
With John on vacation, Gary "The Czar" Hess takes over the big seat for the day -- and to start with for our slate of morning interviews, Gary talks to Dennis Bickmeier, Executive Director of Henrico Sports & Entertainment Authority. Dennis tells Gary about the sports center's first six months in operation, as well as what lies ahead (beginning with the latest Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this weekend).
Finally this morning, we check in with our "Friend From Across the Pond," the great Huw Shakeshaft! John and Huw discuss Middle East politics and the extent to which the Muslim world represents a threat to the existence of Israel.
Today is indeed Thursday -- and you know what that means: former Virginia Governor and European Ambassador Jim Gilmore joins us for his regularly scheduled weekly appearance. John and Governor Gilmore discuss both the General Assembly Veto Session and Speaker Johnson's effort to secure funding in Washington for Ukraine.
Atop the 8 o'clock hour this Thursday AM, we hear from Delegate Terry Kilgore, who talks to John about the goings-on at the General Assembly Veto Session, which got underway yesterday on Capitol Square.
Next up this Thursday morning is the Family Foundation's Bruce Schlesman -- who talks to John about the foundation's sponsorship this Saturday of a forum featuring Republican candidates campaigning for election to the U.S. Senate this fall.
Happy "Friday Eve," everybody! First up among our guests this AM is Henrico CASA Executive Director, Jeannine Panzera -- who talks to John about Child Abuse Prevention Month, and CASA's efforts to help.
Calling in to the show at the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour is comedian and Fox News Saturday Night host Jimmy Failla, who talks about his new book -- and, in conjunction, winning the war against leftist cancel culture.
