Atop the 9 o'clock hour this AM, and on short notice (!), President Trump's 2024 National Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, calls in to the show for a conversation about the campaign and the efforts by Democrats to try to undermine it.
Atop the 8 o'clock hour this Thursday morning, John welcomes our friend from "across the pond," Huw Shakeshaft, for a typically wide-ranging discussion (including conversation about King Charles' health and the Supreme Court's hearing regarding the removal of President Trump from the Colorado ballot).
At the bottom of the 7 o'clock hour this morning, John welcomes to the show law enforcement expert and criminologist Dr. Currie Myers, who reflects on Congresswoman Cori Bush's election to hire an expensive private security team -- after having proclaimed that government should defund police departments.
Happy "Friday Eve"! To start with this Thursday, John welcomes Delegate Buddy Fowler to the show, for a conversation about the ongoing 2024 General Assembly session this winter.
Finally this Wednesday, the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia herself, Winsome Sears, calls in to the show to talk about the ongoing General Assembly session this season -- and in particular, some of the Democrat-proposed legislation that she opposes.
Calling in to the show atop the 8 o'clock hour is Family Foundation President Victoria Cobb, who talks to John about her organization's advocacy for life, which often is at odds with Democrats now in control of Virginia's legislature.
Victoria also discusses the upcoming March for Life on February 21. (You can register for that event here.)
Next up this Wednesday is former State Senator Joe Morrissey, who joins John for a reflection on Levar Stoney's eight years as Richmond's Mayor. (Spoiler alert: Senator Morrissey and John don't give Mayor Stoney high marks!)
Atop the 7 o'clock hour this Wednesday morning, John welcomes author and attorney Hans Bader back to the show, for an in-depth conversation about the Democrat-proposed "Second Look" legislation, under consideration at the General Assembly this winter.
Finally this morning, for the latest installment of "Giving Tuesday," John welcomes Forward Foundation's Andrea Starr to the show, for a discussion about that organization's work in the area -- and a forthcoming, fundraising gala!
You can learn more about Forward Foundation here (and about the gala here).
Joining John at the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour this AM is outgoing Richmond Region Tourism Director Jack Berry, who talks about his 31 (!) years in the office and how and why Richmond is continuing to thrive as a tourist destination.
